Happy Halloween & Craft!

Happy Halloween!!!!

Last night I had an amazing time at a farm with my youth group at church!!!! There was a HUGE jumping trampoline type of thing, which was SO FUN!!! Then we had pizza, hot chocolate, and s'mores around a very big bonfire! Afterwards, we went on a long hayride in the dark!!! Then I went with my friends in a corn maze!! It took us a while, but we finally got to the end. But what took us even longer was trying to get back out at the entrance. We had to walk through the corn and outside of the corn maze to get back out to the entrance. LOL It was pretty funny!

Anyway, today I have a doll Halloween craft, which you can do if you want!

Doll Halloween Candy

Materials: Brown Foam, Tape, Colored Paper Wrappers

Directions: Cut out a small piece of brown foam the size of a doll sized candy bar. Wrap a colored paper wrapper around it and secure it with a small piece of tape. Then you have doll sized candy bars! (The Doll Party kit has candy wrappers you can use. But you can also make your own or maybe even print pictures of the candy brands off the computer.)

Felicity Just For Fun Book Review! And a Discovery!

Hi everyone!

I recently went to Borders Bookstore and got the Felicity Just For Fun Book! But before I give you the book review, I wanted to tell you all something. I had noticed that at my particular Borders, the AG section seemed to be getting smaller and smaller each time I went. There were fewer AG things each time I went. However this last time I went to Borders, there was a HUGE section of AG books/things!!! Can you guess what Borders is now selling from the American Girl Line??!??? THE AMERICAN GIRL CRAFTS!!!! So, go to Borders because there is a lot of cool AG crafts there! Now for the book review:

It comes with a page of bookmarks! I thought that was cool!

This book has tons of puzzles, activities, recipies, games, crafts, stickers, and much more inside! It was $12.95 at Borders, which I thought was a little expensive for this book. But you can use coupons from Borders if you get them. I give this book an A+! I highly recommend it!

I'm planning to get Felicity's Tea Lesson Gown before she retires too! I also really want to get Elizabeth! ;)

Girl of the Year 2011!!! BIG NEWS!

Hi everyone!

First, I'd like to thank all of you for your very nice birthday wishes to me! :)

Now, for some big AG news!!!! :D

The next GOTY will be........ Hawaiian! It looks like her name is Kanani! On the Borders Website, it says that the book title is Aloha Kanani. Apparently the book is by Lisa Yee as well. On Amazon, there is info about new GOTY books too! There are no pictures, etc. But everything will come out January 1, 2011!

My 16th Birthday Post!!!

Hi everyone!!!! :)

I'm so excited!!!! Today is my birthday and I turned 16!!! YAY!!! I'm finally 16!!!!!!! :D

Today, my class sang happy birthday to me and then we had cupcakes! When I came home, my mom had made me my favorite dinner! (Barbecue Chicken and Potato Salad!)

I also had a really nice birthday celebration on Saturday with my family! We went to Outback Steakhouse, then we went home to have cake, ice cream, and open presents! 

This is what the cake looked like before everyone took a slice. LOL :D (My mom realized there was only one birthday candle left at home... and it was a trick candle, so I couldn't blow it out. ) It was pretty funny because she had to put the candle in a cup of water to extinguish it. haha

Here are some pictures of I what my family gave me for my birthday!

My mom got me this gorgeous purse, which I really wanted!

My older sister and her husband got me this beautiful Vera Bradley purse!

They also got me a pack of lip gloss!

And a cute little set of nail polish!

They also got me a nail file! My mom bought me the pretty pink nail polish!

My mom also got me a pack of mini doll-sized silly bands!

My other older sister got me a Barnes and Nobles gift card! (She was going to get me the Taylor Swift CD, but she couldn't because it hadn't come out yet, so she got me a gift card so I could buy it when it comes out!) She also got me a pink rose.

My older brother and his wife got me a gift card to Old Navy!

And I got GUM! hehe

My mom knew I really wanted the new Mandie movie, so she also got me this!

1.) I was born in Florida!                                           

2.) I'm taking Algebra 2 at school.                          

3.) I'm going to get my braces off before Christmas!

4.) I wear contacts.                                                 

                         

5. )I get up at 5:30 every morning for school.               

           

6.) I want to be a  teacher after I graduate from college.               

7.) I sing soprano 1,which is the highest voice range in my school chorus.

Last Day of Being Fifteen

Hello everyone!!!

I am soo excited because tommorow is my birthday!  I will be 16 years old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

Yesterday, I had a fun birthday celebration with my family and I got many wonderful new things! (I will write more about that later.) ;)
Sadly, this is my last day of being 15.... LOL

Since today is my last day being 15, I will write 15 Random facts about me below and tommorow I will put 16 different random facts about me on my special birthday post!

1.) I take Irish Dance.

2.) My nails are painted blue right now! :D

3.) I have two scrapbooks.

4.) I am an aunt of three nephews! :)

5.) I go to an all girls school.

8.) I'm learning how to play Fur Elise on the piano!

A Music Quiz!

{1} What musical instrument(s) do you play? I play the piano!

{2} How long have you been playing that instrument(s)? I have been playing the piano for about 5 or 6 years.

{4} Why? (in reference to the above question) Classical music sounds beautiful! So I love listening to it!

{10} What's one thing you love about your instrument? I can sit down and play it when ever I want when I'm at home! LOL :D

{12} Would you rather listen to an entire CD (or playlist) of just one artist, or a random shuffle list or CD? It depends on the artist. If it's Taylor Swift, I'll listen to the whole playlist.

{13} Do you like listening to movie soundtracks? YES!

{14} Does listening to music while doing schoolwork distract or help you? It ususally distracts me! Except for music appreciation class of course!

{15} Radio, CD or iPod/mp3 player? I have a portable CD player, but it broke. So I listen to the radio in the car and use the CD player in the car. I would LOVE to have an iPod though!

{16} Do your siblings like to listen to the same music you do? My siblings like to listen to country music like me!

{17} Do you like to "sing along" with the songs you know, or would you rather just listen to them? It depends on my mood.

{18} Do you like to listen to "old music", a.k.a. the music your parents listened to way back in the day? (not that our parents are old or anything....) Sometimes.....

Felicity Enjoys a Beautiful Fall Day! And Birthday Countdown!

Today is a beautiful Fall Day, so Felicity decided to go outside to enjoy it!

TWO MORE DAYS UNTIL MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!  I'm so very excited!!!! I will be 16!!! Actually today, I'm having a birthday celebration with my family! We are going to Outback Steakhouse! Then we are going to have cake, ice cream and presents back at the house! I'm still going to celebrate on Monday the 25, my actual birthday too though! Many posts to come about my 16th Birthday!
