I decided to enter a giveaway from Miss Jo March's Blog, Scraps from My Workbasket! Here is the music quiz that goes along with her giveaway to win a beautiful doll dress! This is all part of her Fiesta de Octobre!
The Music Quiz:
{1} What musical instrument(s) do you play? I play the piano!
{2} How long have you been playing that instrument(s)? I have been playing the piano for about 5 or 6 years.
{3} What is your favorite era of music: Baroque, Classical, Romantic or Contemporary? I like Classical music!
{4} Why? (in reference to the above question) Classical music sounds beautiful! So I love listening to it!
{5} Who is your favorite composer? (If you're drawing a blank, click here for a nice long list to pick from :D) I like Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Ballet music! I also like Pachabel's Canon in D!
{6} Do you like jazz music? Why or why not? Yes, I like some kinds of jazz music because it's fun- sounding.
{7} Are one of those folks who could play their musical instrument for hours and love every minute of it? (or...just about every minute?) I like playing pieces I've already learned on the piano for a long time. However, when it comes to practicing, it depends on if I like the piece or not.
{8} Would you rather listen to music or play it? I like doing both!
{9} Do you like to perform in front of people, or would you rather not? I like performing in front of people, but I get really nervous.
{10} What's one thing you love about your instrument? I can sit down and play it when ever I want when I'm at home! LOL :D
{11} What is your favorite genre of music to listen to? I like Taylor Swift's music, country music, SOME pop music, ballet music, and classical music!
{12} Would you rather listen to an entire CD (or playlist) of just one artist, or a random shuffle list or CD? It depends on the artist. If it's Taylor Swift, I'll listen to the whole playlist.
{13} Do you like listening to movie soundtracks? YES!
{14} Does listening to music while doing schoolwork distract or help you? It ususally distracts me! Except for music appreciation class of course!
{15} Radio, CD or iPod/mp3 player? I have a portable CD player, but it broke. So I listen to the radio in the car and use the CD player in the car. I would LOVE to have an iPod though!
{16} Do your siblings like to listen to the same music you do? My siblings like to listen to country music like me!
{17} Do you like to "sing along" with the songs you know, or would you rather just listen to them? It depends on my mood.
{18} Do you like to listen to "old music", a.k.a. the music your parents listened to way back in the day? (not that our parents are old or anything....) Sometimes.....
{19} Do you like rap music? (random question, I know) No, I don't like rap music.
{20} Ready for Christmas music yet? ABSOLUTELY YES!!!

ReplyDeletePeople make up tags and then post them on their blogs. Then they tag people. If you see your name tagged or if anyone who wants to do the tag is tagged, then you copy and paste the tag onto your blog with YOUR answers. You can make up your own tag if you want and then tag people on your blog, if you want. I'll be sure to tag you in my next tag too! This music thing wasn't a tag though, it was just questions that anyone could do to enter a giveaway. Hope I helped! :)
