Daisy Cake & Ruthie!

Hi everyone!

This week I did a cooking camp and made many yummy things to eat! I had a lot of fun!

Here is a list of what I made with everyone during the week:

And...... CAKE with fondant and icing!!

We made a cake and then put icing on it. Then we put the fondant covering on! After that, we put different colors and shapes of fondant on it to decorate it! I decided to make daisies with the fondant and put it on the cake!

It was all very yummy, except we didn't get to try the vanilla ice cream. I think the teacher forgot about it. Oh well. Anyway, we all got to bring our cake home with us! So, knowing me, I had to take pictures!

Favorite Book Scenes- Pride and Prejudice

Hi everyone! :)

I recently took some pictures of Rebecca and Charlotte portraying similar scenes from the book Pride and Prejudice. I took them for AGC Round 3, My Favorite Book. Charlotte's favorite book is Pride and Prejudice. In these scenes, Charlotte is Jane and Rebecca is Elizabeth. It took me several tries to get the picture just right.

Here are my attempts until I got it just right.

1st Try

The book is falling down. It took me three more tries before I got the book to stay.

4th Try

PERFECT!

Rebecca (Elizabeth) is holding a flower and Charlotte (Jane) is holding a letter from Mr. Bingley.

It was very difficult to get the dolls to stay standing up, so I put a doll stand behind them both, so they'd stay up. I also got about 14 bug bites while I was doing these pictures. LOL

Have you read Pride and Prejudice or seen the movie? I read it this year and school and watched the movie too.

Also, I have a very big surprise planned for you all, it will hopefully be up tonight or tommorow!!! But right now it's a secret! :)

AG Decorated Binder- Craft # 2

Hi everyone! :)

Here is the 2nd craft tutorial for you!

AG Decorated Binder

I made this last year and used it for history at school! :)

You can make it too!

Directions:

1. Find some AG related pictures you like.

2. Cut them out.

3. Attach the pictures with tape. *Note* It's easier to glue/tape them to a pretty piece of paper.

4. Insert into binder and you're done! :)

Double Ponies- Hair Style # 1

Hi everyone! :)

In addition to having craft tutorials posted on my blog, I will also be having hairstyle tutorials!

Here is the first one:

Double Pony Tails

1. Lightly mist and brush your doll’s hair to get any tangles out.

2. Gather a little bit of her hair from the front of her forehead and put it into a small ponytail on one side of her head. Secure with a ponytail holder.

3. Repeat on the other side.

4. Make sure the two ponytails look like they are at the right angle from each other.

5. Add a hair ribbon if you like and you’re done!

Note: (This hairstyle looks really cute on dolls with short, curly hair.
But it looks adorable on all of them!)

The New American Girl Items!

Hi everyone! :)

American Girl has so many NEW cute outfits, accessories, and more! The JLY dolls are now called My American Girl dolls, which have new outfits and accessories! There is a new pet set, spa set, bathtub, braces set, earrings, horse, and much more! My favorite new things are the Pet Show Outfit for dolls and the Fall Treats Set! I'm asking for those for my birthday! The Pet Show Outfit is simply adorable! I also like the Pretty & Plaid Outfit and Western Riding Outfit & Hat for dolls! Some other new things are the Healthy Smile Set for dolls and the Sweet Treats Pajamas! There is so much more though! You can see them all on the website! What is your favorite new thing?

Although, I love the new stuff, I'm a little upset you have to buy a new doll to have full access to play the new games... it's so expensive. It also seems a little bit like Webkinz.

Back from Vacation & 20 Followers!!!!

Hi everyone!! :)

I just got back from vacation in Florida! So that's whyI haven't posted for a few days. I'm very glad to be home! I hope you all had a great 4th of July! I had a great 4th of July! I saw lots of fireworks! There were so many of them ALL night! LOL My family and I got to watch them on the beach! What did you do on the 4th of July? I also want to thank all 20 of my followers! Molly's Paper Dolls!

Yesterday, Charlotte told you all about how my sister gave me a few AG things to borrow! One of the other things I want to show you is Molly's paper dolls!

American Girl used to sell Molly's paper dolls with her Rain Coat Set, but they retired it. I think these paper dolls are really neat!
