Happy March everyone! Spring is almost here!

A few days ago, I received a package addressed to me from Liz @ American Girl Fan from her ItsyBitsy Treats Giveaway! Thank you Liz!

Inside the package was a lovely Valentines Day Card and a bag full of doll sized heart cookies!

The cookies look so real and delicious!

Kirsten and Rebecca enjoyed snacking on the cookies too!

2012 Valentines Day Doll Photo Contest!

With Valentines Day just around the corner, I decided to host my first Valentines Day Doll Photo Contest! (I plan to make this an annual event!) :)

To enter, please read the directions below. :)

About the Contest:

Submit one photo of your doll/s celebrating Valentines Day! (They do not have to be American Girl dolls.)They could be making Valentines Day cards, decorating cookies, having a party... be creative! :) Email your photos to agfan2010@aol.com along with your name/nickname and the names of your dolls by Friday, February 3. The pictures will be posted on Saturday, February 4, along with the winners!)  That gives you all a little over a week.

Judging:

Your pictures will mainly be judged on creativity, the lighting, the background, and how your doll looks. (Your doll's hair should be fixed and she should look neat, etc.) (See tips below.)

Tips:

1.) Dress your dolls in Valentines Day colors!

2.) Take the picture from different angles and choose which one you like best.

3.) Make sure the lighting is good.

4.) Photo editing is allowed and encouraged.

Prizes:

There will be two winners for this contest! The grand prize/first place winner will receive the cute doll sized box full of valentines below and a custom made blog signature for FREE! The second place winner will receive a custom made blog signature for FREE! All participants will receive an award for their blog as well.

My Prizes from Sassy Doll Creations!

Yesterday, I received my prizes from Sassy Doll Creations in the mail! I won a $25 gift certificate to Pamela's shop from a giveaway on Doll Diaries, so I picked out two dresses to purchase!

She sews so many beautiful doll clothes, which she sells on her website and etsy, so it was hard to pick out which outfits I wanted to buy! :)

I decided to buy the Zebra Hot Pink Dress with Bloomers and the Black, Pink and White Dress!

Both dresses are very fashionable, CUTE, and very well made!

The table was beautifully set to look like a Thanksgiving table and the dolls were all posed in a very realistic way! I especially like how you made the dolls hold their little cups. I also really like the angle you took the picture from. The lighting was perfect for the picture and the candles and leaves gave it a really cool effect as well! You even had a nice tablecloth and napkins! :) Well done, Miranda! Thanksgiving Doll Photo Contest!!!!!

Hi everyone!!!

SURPRISE!!!!! It's time for my first Doll Photo Contest on my blog!!!  Since it's almost Thanksgiving, I have decided to make it a Thanksgiving themed photo contest! :D I'm so excited to announce it to you all!

Here is all the information about the contest! :)

Theme: As I said before, it is a Thanksgiving themed photo contest. This means you can take a picture of your dolls celebrating Thanksgiving, giving thanks, making pie, baking, eating turkey, or whatever Thanksgiving means to you.

Rules: You need to have a parent's permission and your photo must be of dolls.  (The winner will need to send me an address to send their prize too.) And.... Have fun!!
Note: They do not HAVE to be American Girl dolls.

Judging: I will judge your photos based on creativity, the lighting, neatness, and how your dolls look. (That means your doll's/s hair should be fixed neatly, etc.)

Sending in Your Picture: Please send your picture to me in an email to agfan2010@aol.com. You may post your picture on your blog and send me the link in an email if you'd like. But you need to specify which picture you are entering if there is more than one picture in the post. Also if you do that, please give me the link of the post, not to your homepage of your blog.

Due Date: Your picture will be due on Saturday, November 27, 2010. That is the Saturday after Thanksgiving. The results will be posted on Sunday, November 28, 2010. This gives you all one week.

Prizes and Winners: How could I forget about prizes? :D There will be a 1st and 2nd Place winner! The 1st Place winner will receive a blue holiday wristlet for dolls and an award for her blog! The 2nd Place winner will receive an award for her blog!
