Fall Photo Contest!

Hi everyone!

As part of my Fall celebration, I am hosting my First Fall Photo Contest! Last year I had a Thanksgiving Photo Contest and I received some amazing entries for it! I hope you can enter this one too!



For this contest, please take one photo of your doll/s celebrating Fall! They could be wearing costumes, playing in the leaves, making pumpkin pie... whatever you like! Be creative! Please have a parent's permission before entering as well. You can email me your pictures to agfan2010@aol.com. Please include your name/nickname and your doll/s names.

Your photos will be judged on creativity, the background, the lighting, and how your doll looks. (I mean your doll's hair should be neatly fixed, etc.) Tip: Photos often look better when they are taken outside because the lighting is very nice for pictures. Of course you can take them inside too, if you wish.

The winner will receive three fall themed posters, a fall related prize for dolls, and an award for their blog! Everyone who participates will receive an award for their blog too! I, sadly, can only ship to the U.S. I am sorry. :( You can still enter, even if you don't live in the U.S., if you want, and receive a participation award though! :)

You have until Friday, October 28th to send me your pictures! I will post everyone's pictures on Saturday, October 29th and announce the winner!

Charlotte and Lilly's Birthday!

A days ago, Charlotte and Lilly Claire celebrated their birthday!

"Happy birthday Charlotte!" "Happy birthday Lilly!"

They enjoyed delicious party treats, such as pizza, cake, ice cream, and soda. (The soda and chocolate syrup are lip glosses from Hershey Park. The cake and ice cream set is from American Girl! I made the presents.)

Lilly and Chrissa had so much fun! I made the party hats from the Doll Parties Craft Kit!

Charlotte opened a present as well!

Right after I finished taking pictures for the story, Ruthie fell over. I took a picture. LOL

My Doll Display!

Do you have a special place where you keep your dolls? Do you display them somewhere?

I have a special place for mine in my room, where they are displayed! :)

I keep them on top of my book case, where most of my American Girl/doll related items are stored underneath. I keep some other AG/doll things in my closet and in other places around my room when I am not using them. I also have a smaller book case where my AG books are kept.

My Doll Room! I made many of the items found in this room and sewed the quilting for the bed.

I used a Hello Kitty trunk and covered it with a cloth and turned it into a desk as well.



I have also been collecting the AG Catalogs for a long time now.

Kirsten and Charlotte's Photoshoot on a Rainy Day

It has been raining for quite some time today and I have been rather bored. I decided to take a photoshoot of Kirsten and Charlotte! I barely have any photos of Kirsten on my blog, so I thought you might like to see some pictures of her!

I used a white poster board for the background. I got the idea from Karalee @ My View of the World.

The Pet Show Outfit!

The AG Bistro!

Yesterday my mom, sister, and I went to the American Girl Bistro near Washington DC! My mom had made reservations for us, so we got go for lunch. The Bistro was so pretty and very pink!

I loved the cute little tables! They were set so nicely and fancily. :)

Charlotte and her friend sitting in their little chairs. :) (My mom decided to borrow one of the My American Girl dolls to eat with!) They both look so cute together. :) 

The waitress brought little cups and saucers for them! So cute! :) Unfortunatley, we could not keep the saucers and cups. They are sold at the AG Place though, so I may get them one day.

These flowers were the centerpieces for the tables. They are so pretty. :)

They even had little boxes of table talkers on the tables!

There was this giant pink hanging flower there too. hehe

I finally got to try their Pink Lemonade, which was really good! 

There was this little corner in the Bistro with a doll salon chair too.

You may be wondering what we had to eat there...

My mom and sister ordered the Spinach Artichoke Dip with Pita Chips!

I ordered the Cheesy Cheddar Fondue. :) YUM!!

For my main course, I ordered The Chicken Caesar Sandwich! It came with curly fries too. It was very delicious!

My mom ordered the Citrus Marinated Salmon.

My sister ordered the Spinach Salad with Warm Bacon Dressing.

We decided to share the Chocolate Fondue Sampler for dessert! The sampler came with pound cake, brownies, strawberries, marmellows, and chocolate fondue! The brownies and strawberries tasted especially delectable with the chocolate fondue! We all agreed it was DELICIOUS. :D

Charlotte and her friend wanted to try some too. ;)

There were also tables outside, but it was too hot to eat out there.

We all had a nice afternoon at the American Girl Bistro! I hope to go again one day. Have you evver been to the American Girl Bistro or Cafe? Did you like it? I would love to know!

After we were finished eating, I did a little shopping too and more picture taking! I will post about that tommorow, so please check back soon!
